From the free-spirited locals dancing in the middle of the city to the delicious cultural dishes you can try on the side of the road, El Salvador is ranked highly on my list of favorite countries to visit. I arrived in San Salvador on May 31st, 2022, with the plan of only staying four days but my trip turned into a week-long vacation. Surprisingly to me, most people have not heard of this beautiful country so I’m here to suggest activities for you to do in El Salvador.

I suggest hiring a private driver to take you anywhere you need to go. David, the owner of @taxi_express_y_tours offers various tours for low prices.

Hire a tour guide to learn about the culture
My private tour with @tourguideelsalvador was extremely informative and exciting. From taking shots of San Salvador's most exclusive liquor, tasting local dishes, and dancing in the middle of the cathedral, downtown with the locals. I highly recommend booking with Rex.
